Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah cast got emotional while remembering late Ghanshyam Nayak and Kavi Kumar Azad on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah came as special guests for the Shaandaar Shukravaar episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13. As expected, the episode was full of fun and entertaining. Shyamlal Pathak, who essays the role of Popatlal, and producer Asit Kumar Modi were the first ones to sit on the hot seat. The duo played the game while having fun in between.
Later, the cast of the Taarak mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team spoke about the memories associated with the show. The cast got emotional while remembering late Kavi Kumar Azad and Ghanshyam Nayak.
Tanmay Vekaria, who plays the role of Bagga said, "We just pray that whereve Nattu kaka and Dr Hathi are they are watching over us and are blessing us so that they can continue to entertain the audiences and the show also does well." Tanuj Mahashabde, who plays Mr Iyer, also remembered Dr Haathi aka Kavi Kumar Azad and got teary-eyed. Producer Asit Modi said, "We lost our makeup artist Anand Bhai Parmar also while working on the show and two other people from the production team also passed away. They worked with us from day one. They never faced the camera."
Adding to that, Big B said that the people who work backstage are also the heroes, their contribution towards the show is the primary and important one.
Big B then congratulated Asit Kumar Modi for successful running the show. Asit then shared that they came up with the show where Indian Television was dominated by daily soaps. He stated that he always knew that the audience would love to watch a daily comedy show and they just provided them the content.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved TV shows. From Jethalal's funny antics to Popatlal's jokes, TMKOC is loved by the masses for many reasons.
